Celia Au

Storyteller, Producer & Advocate

A Berlinale Talents 2023 alum, Celia Au believes in the power of storytelling to reshape perceptions and spark change. As a producer, she is committed to championing diverse voices, collaborating with organizations to bring underrepresented stories to the forefront. Her work has played a role in initiatives that have contributed to the box office success of AAPI-led projects. On-screen, Au is known for her performances in Netflix’s Wu Assassins, Comedy Central’s Nora from Queens, AMC’s Lodge 49 and many more. But her impact doesn’t stop there. Beyond entertainment, Au is a passionate advocate for the AAPI community. She has taken the stage at events for Goldman Sachs, IPG Group, AEG Studios, Wash the Hate, and Act to Change. Recognized as the Ambassador of Hope at the Rise Above the Storm Gala (2020–2022), she continues to use her voice to push for meaningful change. This March, Au’s latest short film—one she both produced and starred in—will have its world premiere at SXSW. She can also be seen in an upcoming episode of S.W.A.T., further cementing her presence in the industry.
