WHERE ACTIVITIES ABOUND
HCS offers a warm and caring environment where friendships are formed. With the goal of healthy aging and improving the quality of life, HCS provides social, educational, health and wellness activities to help reduce social isolation and depression among older adults.
Our older adults centers have specialized programs that are culturally competent for Asian older adults but are non-denominational and open to all older adults 60 years or older, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or other characteristic. Both our centers are easily accessible by public transportation and are handicapped-accessible.
WHERE LEARNING
NEVER ENDS
HCS have culturally competent programs and services including classes for older immigrant adults, many of whom are learning as a second chance to be able to speak English, use a computer, dance, or sing for the first time.
